TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training

TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training

The TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training is designed for experienced VET professionals who want to strengthen their practice, build advanced capability, and specialise in an area that aligns with their role and career direction.

At HBTA, we offer all three streams within the qualification:

  • Advanced Training and Assessment

  • Design and Development

  • VET Leadership

This gives you the flexibility to choose a pathway that best suits your goals and the work you do within the sector. Each stream includes units designed to extend your capability, challenge your thinking, and support meaningful professional growth.

To enter this qualification, you must hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an equivalent successor qualification. You also need to be currently working in an RTO or in a training and development role within an organisation, as assessment tasks require access to real vocational education and training practice and workplace application. This ensures you are able to complete the qualification in a context that reflects current industry expectations and real-world practice.

Before enrolment, we take the time to understand each candidate’s background, goals, and support needs. This process may be completed through email or other pre-enrolment communication and helps us ensure the qualification and chosen stream are the right fit. It also allows us to identify any support strategies that may be needed so that your learning experience with HBTA is practical, personalised and well supported from the outset.
