HSR – Health & Safety Representatives WA Only – Refresher

HSR’s play a crucial role in maintaining and improving safety and health in their workplace, plus the knowledge and skills required to represent their fellow employees and ensure their workplace is adhering to WHS Legislative health and safety requirements.

This course can be facilitated anywhere in Western Australia for groups or can be attended individually at our Welshpool training centre.

The Refresher course gives Safety and Health Representatives who have been re-appointed, an opportunity to update their knowledge to understand the changes in WHS Legislation, roles and processes for Safety Reps.

Our Safety & Health Representatives course will update your knowledge on:

  • Interpreting the WHS Legislation, to apply in the role of a Safety and Health Representative
  • Understanding the HSR role, functions, powers and rights
  • Consulting effectively and participating in issue resolution
  • Representing employees on safety and health matters
  • Monitoring safety risks, conduct workplace inspections
  • Issuing a Provisional Improvenment Notice (PIN)
