Who can enrol

To enter this qualification, you must hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an equivalent successor qualification. You also need to be currently teaching at a Victorian TAFE, as assessment tasks and your Schedule 4 practicum require access to real vocational education and training practice and workplace application. This ensures you complete the qualification in a context that reflects your TAFE teaching role and current industry expectations.

Before enrolment, we take the time to understand your background, goals and support needs. This may be completed through email or other pre-enrolment communication and helps us make sure the qualification, your chosen stream and your Schedule 4 practicum plan are the right fit. It also allows us to identify any support strategies you may need, so your learning experience with HBTA is practical, personalised and well supported from the outset.
